No clan night tonight.
OD and I are at IDF.
This is the weblog of the Bada Bing Xbox gaming clan. Membership is by invitation only, contact gtdroptop on Xbox Live for more information.
Halo 4 launches on November 6. The Cold Stream DLC is keeping us amused on clan nights for the time being. Need more to do? Here's some other games that the clan and I are playing:
Guild Wars 2: MMORPG with a PC client. This is the latest MMO in the vein of World of Warcraft. Intends to reduce the "grind" of RPGs and introduces interesting things like Dynamic Events. Cost: $59.99. Players on:
Reminder that your homework assignment for the month of September is to play H2 campaign. There's no XBL support for this at all, not even voice chat, so it will be an individual thing.
Also remember that your homework for the month of August is to play the Halo 1/CE campaign.
I'm in Maui this week, so will not be hosting formal clan night. For those looking to game, at least 4 of us have purchased the L4D2 Cold Stream map pack DLC. For $8, you get two brand new maps as well as 3 L4D1 maps. You get to play all 5 maps with our favorite characters from L4D1 (Francis, Zoey, Porter and creepy old Bill!) but with all the cool special infected of L4D2! Cold Stream will be the default clan night game through September.
For those that can't kick in the coin, August is set aside for Halo 1/CE campaign, since we just finished the Halo Reach campaign in July. September will be Halo 2, October will be Halo 3, with November set for the launch of Halo 4. Since XBL doesn't support Halo 1/CE/2 campaign very well, this is just a homework assignment until October. For those interested in coordinating 2-player Halo 1/CE campaign runs, I'm happy to help with matchmaking.
We'll be starting with "The Package" campaign mission this week.
I'm thinking maybe some more campaign. I have a semi-serious idea of going through all the Halo campaigns before H4 launches this fall.
The internets are starting to buzz with leaked info about Halo 4. http://www.littleenglishhaloblog.com/2012/06/new-halo-4-info-blowout-via-expertzone.html I won't embed in case you want to be surprised for some reason. H4 launches on November 6. If there is interest to play through previous campaigns, please comment or reply on e-mail, and I'll set it up.
Sorry I suck about late posts when I'm traveling. Thanks to Mrs Monkey for the reminder.
As before, keep your Reach disc handy in case we have a weird number for zombies.
